HTC has finally started feeding the Android Nougat update to India units of HTC One A9. The update has a version 2.18.707.1 and apart from the Nougat, this also brings latest security patch as well as some system enhancements.
HTC took quite a lot time in feeding the Android 7.0 Nougat update to One A9 handset of India. The update first rolled out in the US back in January 2017, later on, the update fed to European variants of the HTC One A9, but it was only last month when European users received it.
The weight of the update v2.18.707.1 is over 1GB, so you need to have a stable and fast Wi-Fi connection to grab this update. Also, make sure the battery of the phone is charged enough so that the whole update process goes smooth.
HTC One A9 features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels. It’s one of the mid-range 4G smartphones in India priced at below 25K. It powered by 1.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor and coupled with a 3GB of RAM. It comes with a 32GB internal memory that can be expanded further using a microSD card. It packs a 13MP camera on the rear and a 4MP on the front.
