Samsung's J3 2017 launch seems like inching closer. The device recently appeared at Wi-Fi Alliance and today its listing appeared on Geekbench. The best thing is listing reveals the hardware specs sheet of the device which will give Samsung fans a pretty good idea about what's inside the upcoming entry-level smartphone.
The J3 2017 model number is SM-J330F. It is running on Android Nougat 7.0 as the operating system. The listing suggests that the company's own built Exynos 7570 SoC is powering the device at a clocking speed of 1.4GHz. So far similar chipset is powering the J5 Prime and Xcover 4 devices. The new chipset is power-efficient as well as brings improvements in CPU performance.
The SoC is accompanied by 2GB of RAM and built-in internal memory is 16GB which can be further expanded. On the camera front, there will be a 12MP camera at the back and a 5MP camera in the front for selfies. The smartphone will feature a 4.8-inch display with a resolution of 1280*720 pixels.
