Vivo has an X-series in its portfolio that encapsulates smartphones with a premium build with mid-range prices. The series already includes X9 and X9 Plus smartphones and now it seems like the company is ready to add one more device to this series.
According to the Chinese Radio certification, the upcoming smartphone is dubbed as X9S Plus. The certification shows that the device is one step closer to the release, though there isn’t any concrete detail on the same.
According to the listing, the X9S Plus is likely to be the first smartphone powered by Snapdragon 660 processor. This integrates an octa-core Kyro CPU and coupled with Adreno 512 GOU. This also supports dual-channel LPDDR4X memory, UFS 2.1 storage, and X10 LTE baseband. There are no further details of the smartphone.
Like its siblings, X9S Plus is also expected to come with a dual selfie camera setup. Vivo may also put a dual rear camera setup. If this happens, the X9S Plus will thus join the likes of Alcatel Flash featuring four cameras. No details of the camera sensors have been surfaced yet.
Vivo X9 launched in November last year holds dual cameras at the front and is powered by Snapdragon 625 processor.
