HTC U 11 has been attaining much attention these days due to one of its important features “Edge Sense.” The device will be unwrapped officially on May 16th and till then we are bound to get more stuff related to it. The last happening was the leaked retail box of the HTC U 11 that revealed every detail of the device and now HTC has shared a six-second video that once again highlights the Edge Sense feature of the U flagship.
The Edge Sense feature is associated with the term “Squeeze.” No, of course, the phone doesn’t get squeezed but swiping the edge of the device squeezes the screen of the device to call up certain apps in action.
Any app can then be opened by tapping on the edge of the device. It’s actually an intuitive gesture control that acts as a completely new feature.
Also, HTC U 11 has made its second appearance on AnTuTu. The latest listing reveals its model number, which is HTC U-3f.
The benchmark site shows that the screen on the phone is expected to be 5.5-inch and it will carry the resolution 140x2560 pixels. It is powered by Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. There is a 64GB native storage, no word on expansion.
The AnTuTu also conveys that the camera on the back will weigh in at 12MP, with a 16MP front-facing camera and the device will run on Android 7.1.1. We are just a few days away from its official unveiling. So, let’s wait for more such stuff to come our way.
