It seems like the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Nubia is gearing up to announce a new device after the success of Z17 Mini. The new device will be unveiled as Z17. Today we have a leaked official listing of Z17 which reveals device hardware design details as well as specifications. Although the authenticity of this leaked listing is yet to be confirmed.
The recently announced Z17 Mini dual rear cameras are placed horizontally but the listing shows the upcoming Z17 dual rear cameras are placed vertically in center and the fingerprint scanner is placed below it. From what we heard so far, One of the dual rear sensors of Z17 will be 23MP while the other module will be of 12MP. Up front, the selfie-centric camera will be of 16MP.
Surprisingly, nearly all leaked images before this showcased the dual rear cameras are horizontally placed, that's why we will recommend taking this info with a grain of salt. The Z17 will be packed with the 5.5-inch display. Another interesting thing is device is listed in two variants, One with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage whereas the other variant has 8GB RAM and 128GB memory.
The listing reveals Nubia Z17 will at least have three color variants including Champagne Gold, Gray and Blue. In last week, we already saw Z17 in Blue and Gold color variants with horizontal dual rear cameras. The Z17 also appears at Geekbench listing last week which reveals that Z17 model number is NX563J.
The Geekbench listing suggests that Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 SoC is powering the device at clocking speed of 1.9GHz. The device appears in the listing has 4GB RAM. Either the device appeared in Geekbench was the earlier prototype or it could be a low-end variant which Nubia might release for other regions. As far as release is a concern, it is expected to be unveiled on June 1st. Stay tuned and feel free to share your thoughts regarding the alleged listing in the comments section below.
