22 June 2017 3

Sega used to be a powerful name amongst gaming community. Sega Networks is once again offering everyone a change to relive those days by bringing a collection of its retro games to iOS and Android devices via a new service called Sega Forever.

Sega Forever is a collection of classic video games which will be available on mobile devices starting June 22. The first batch of retro games includes the following five games:

But every month, new games will arrive with the next one being Virtua Tennis. The entire Sega Forever line-up will be free-to-play and supported by ads. However, there is an option to remove the ads via an in-app purchase for £2/$2.50.

Sega Forever will include both official emulations and ported games. Games will come with support for wireless controllers over Bluetooth. Games like SG-1000, Master System, and Mega Drive/Genesis games will be run via an emulator, while Saturn and Dreamcast games will be direct ports.
