25 June 2017 3

It has been almost one year since Google released Android 7.0 Nougat. A lot of devices are now powered by the OS as the manufacturers rolled out the updates in recent months. But unfortunately, Meizu devices haven't tasted the Nougat OS yet.

And now they say, “Better late than never” as they finally published the list of devices that will get Android 7.0 Nougat update. As per the reports, most of the Meizu devices will receive the update sooner or later. But for now, only eight devices are officially listed.

Meizu announced that the device listed above will be able to register for their open beta program, which will start from July 2 onwards. The official Nougat update will be rolled out to the device from July 10 onwards.

Apart from that, Meizu also shared that the company is celebrating the 5-year anniversary of the Flyme OS. Flyme is the custom Android overlay developed by Meizu for their devices. Even if it is too late, the Nougat update is going to be a precious gift for their loyal fans on the 5-year anniversary.
