Popular Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has recently released a list of smartphones that would be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat. Earlier in the last month, Xiaomi’s Mi Max received Nougat based MIUI beta update and this time around we have 14 more devices that are given the privilege to make the most out of Android Nougat.
Surprisingly the Redmi Note 4 was not made part of the list. The list of smartphones that would be receiving Android 7.0 Nougat includes Xiaomi Redmi 4X, Xiaomi Mi Max, Mi Note 2, Redmi Note 4X, Mi MIX, Mi 5, Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus.
In addition to these, the smartphones that are offered Android 7.1 Nougat include Xiaomi Mi 6, Mi Max 2, Mi 5c and Redmi 4X that is also known as Redmi 4 in Indian. In the place of Redmi Note 4 that isn’t made the part of the list, we get to see Xiaomi Mi Note instead. Even though the company is known to release the updates quite slow compared to the competition, it seems with the announcement of Android Nougat update, fans would get some relief until the company rolls out the next version of OS.
If you own one of these smartphones and you’ve received an update, do share your experience in the comment section down below.

A cool list of 14 smartphones getting the Nougat update. 14 of them in a go is tough work from Xiaomi in a single announcement.
They might have made lots of which phones will receive the Nougat update first. The rest should follow suit.
I searched "Redmi Note 4" and found that it's still not made a part of this list yet. I was disappointed to read this :( :(
BTW, Xiaomi doesn't bring out the updates too eagerly. But you must not worry as I see the Redmi Note 4 soon picking up Nougat.
