Google Photos can now create pet videos automatically

12 July 2017 3

Google Photos is one of the best photo management apps out there and since it's from Google, the app is loaded with a lot of interesting and unique features. With time, it keeps updating with new features to make Photos more useful and productive for users so that they can get most out of their photos. And as per few reports, it seems like Google has a new feature in the app which will specifically be appreciated by pet lovers more.

With this new feature, Google Photos is now able to create automatic videos comprising of multiple shots of your pets like dogs and cats. This is same as app's older feature which makes a collection of all your photos from a particular day, place, event, time, etc. to create memories. Google seems to have clubbed this existing feature with its ability to recognize and differentiate between objects in the photo for the new feature we are talking about now.

You can check out one such example named "Doggie Video" which a user shared on Reddit. In this video, you can see there is a collection of various photos showing him with his dog along with a music in the background mixed with barking sounds.

Similar findings have been reported by many other Reddit users on the same thread which suggests that Google has rolled out this new pet video feature to a number of users. But as the official announcement is still pending, it might take some time before it becomes available to every user around the world.
