From last few weeks, we have seen tons of Moto Z2 Force leaks and rumors. All these rumors give us a pretty good idea of what to expect from Moto 2 Force in terms of specs and design. Today one of the most reliable online source Evan Blass revealed few more hardware details about the upcoming Z2 Force.
According to Blass, the Moto Z2 Force will have the latest iteration of 5.5-inches ShatterShield display. The Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 will be powering the device. Surprisingly Blass stated that Moto Z2 Force base variant will have 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, this variant will be available for the US customers whereas the rest of the world variant will have 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Both US and global variant support MicroSD memory expansion up to 2TB.
As far as cameras are a concern, Blass stated Moto Z2 Force will be adorned with dual 12MP sensors instead of 21MP sensor used on the predecessor. However, the front facing selfie-snapper will remain similar 5MP. Recently rumors start popping up that Moto Z2 Force will have smaller battery cell than predecessor because the company wants to make Z2 Force Ultra slim device. The original Moto Z Force was packed with a 3,500mAh battery cell but as per Blass, the Moto Z2 Force will have a much smaller 2,730mAh battery.
Well, most of the latest flagships are featuring water and dust resistant capabilities, it seems like Motorola isn't yet ready to join in the race of IP rating that's why Moto Z2 Force won't have IP rating. Although the device has nano-coating which will be water-repellent. For sure Motorola fans won't be happy with the smaller battery and lack of IP ratings.
