Most affordable 4GB RAM smartphones | February 2019

20 February 2019 12

In a modern world where we use smartphones for more than just making calls and sending texts, we need phones which can keep up with our pace and offer smooth multitasking. It means they can keep all our apps in the background and let users switch between them smoothly with least possible lag. While there are various aspects which determine a smartphone's good and smooth performance, the amount of RAM is one of the crucial aspects among them.

It is the RAM where all your opened apps get stored while you are using them (even when in the background) which means more the RAM, more the number of apps that you can open simultaneously. And even though OEMs have started to offer phones with 6GB and 8GB of RAM, 4GB of RAM is still pretty standard which has also started to appear in mid-range smartphones. So here is a list of most affordable 4GB RAM smartphones that you can buy right now.

Note: Do keep in mind that while having more RAM can help you, it is not the only aspect which is responsible for a smartphone's slower or faster or smoother performance.

Well, the note is quite handy there. The way more MP sensor in a camera doesn't mean a better performing camera, in the same way, more RAM doesn't always better for a smartphone.
