The Sony Xperia XA1 Plus features a 5.5-inch LCD display with a FullHD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and powered by the octa-core MediaTek MT6757 Helio P20 processor. The device has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. Most markets are expected to get 4GB RAM variants of the XA1 Plus, except for South America and the US, which will get the 3GB model. The US variant might miss out on the side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well.
In the optics department, the XA1 Plus features a 23-megapixel f/2.4 rear-facing primary camera along with an 8-megapixel selfie camera up front for selfies. Both the cameras have an f/2.0 aperture and include wide-angle lens. The device is powered by a wide-angle lens. The device is powered by a 3,430 mAh battery (the largest ever on an Xperia device) and runs Android 7.0 Nougat, which should be further updated to Android 8.0 Oreo. Connectivity options include NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C port, 4G VoLTE, Cat.4 and Cat.6 LTE, depending on the region.
