The upcoming Kirin 970 chipset boast of Artificial Intelligence(AI) and Honor, Huawei’s sister brand has more or less confirmed that they would be incorporating this chipset and latest technology in their upcoming flagship devices. It’s only natural that Honor would make use of hardware manufactured by Huawei. This actually helps keep the cost of manufacturing the device low which allows it to reach end users at reasonable prices. It seems like this is going to be Honor’s game-plan even throughout 2018.
At IFA 2017, the CEO of Honor, George Zhao, in a meeting spoke a little about upcoming devices. The Honor Magic stands out as a smartphone with contextual intelligence and could help make life much simpler by telling you which route to take and even when to leave in order to reach your appointment at the designated time. This indeed would truly be magical! The CEO confirmed that the successor to the Honor v9 would be running on the Kirin 970 chip with EMUI 6. This is in all probability going to manifest itself for the very first time in the Huawei Mate 10.
Coming to more news, the Honor V10 is scheduled to be available in 2018. However, the V series are smartphones which were only available in China. Could we see an international variant of the Honor V10 in 2018? Well, this is a question which only time could answer. On the bright side 2018 has our hopes high for smartphones and Artificial Intelligence. What is your opinion on this? Let us know in the comments section below!
