Huawei Band 2 Pro available in U.S for $69

08 September 2017 3

While smartwatches are still stealing the spotlight with their fancy sensors and update to Android Wear 2.0, here’s a simpler yet useful fitness tracker which you may really like. The device in question is the Huawei Band 2 Pro. Even though this is no Watch 2 Classic or even Watch 2 Sport, it’s still pretty good and has arrived in the U.S for just $69.

The Huawei Band 2 Pro doesn’t have an array of features, it includes a standalone GPS, 5ATM water resistance, heart rate monitoring, and a pretty neat “Professional Run Coach”. Apart from this, some of the more general features include a sleep tracker, notifications from messages, call, and even emails. It is powered by a 105mAh battery which should last about a week with regular usage and around 21 days on standby. This fitness band is available on Amazon in black, blue, and red.

Specifications of the Huawei Band 2 Pro:

44 mm x 19.7 mm x 10.3 mm

Strap Length

114.67 mm + 101.35 mm

Approximately 21 g

PMOLED black-and-white screen

3-axis accelerometer; detached PPG cardio tachometer; infrared wear sensor

OS Compatibility

Android 4.4 or higher, iOS 8.0 or higher

Charging Method

Two PIN charging port, connected to charging cradle through clip

Here’s what Vincent Wen, Vice President, Huawei Device USA had to say about the Huawei Band 2 pro:

Behind the development of the HUAWEI Band 2 Pro is a desire to build a fitness tracker that supports our digital and physical lives while still maintaining an attractive look and feel…Regardless of where adventures may lead, we're proud to say the Band 2 Pro and our lineup of wearables are there to help support everyone's desire for more active lifestyles.
