Check out this cool Galaxy Note 8 with a completely transparent back panel | Video

08 September 2017 0

With the announcement of the new Galaxy Note 8, YouTube channel JerryRigEverything is back again on a mission to make the back panel of this phone completely transparent, like they did with the Galaxy S8. Galaxy Note devices are often owned by geeks and techies, so it is only appropriate that the device should look the part as well.

Most phones today don't have a removable back panel (thanks to waterproofing), which means it can't easily be swapped out for a transparent one. Samsung uses Gorilla glass for the back, which is further reinforced by a plastic laminated sheet which also lends the phone its distinctive color. This sheet can be taken off, albeit with much painstaking effort.

Take a look at how it is actually done!

This is a very dangerous process, and will most certainly destroy the phone's waterproofing (if not the phone itself in case its done wrong). Such a process can also result in an accident, so it isn't recommended for everyone. And it goes without saying that this process nulls and voids the warranty. If you must attempt it, then do so at your own rish.

The phone does look extremely cool this way though.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is available at Amazon for $ 459. The price/quality is avarage but this is the best device in this price range. To see others 15 offers click here.
