LG India has now officially launched its newest mid-range smartphone named LG Q6+ in the country. This is the second smartphone in the LG Q series after the LG Q6 which was made official last month. This series is basically an attempt of LG to offer premium features within budget which many users could not afford with expensive LG G6 flagship.
The LG Q6+ sports a 5.5-inch Full HD FullVision display with 2160 x 1080 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it has the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. This is the only major difference between the Q6+ and LG Q6 where the latter comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.
In the camera department, you will get a 13-megapixel rear shooter and a 5-megapixel front shooter. The whole package is powered by a 3000mAh battery and it will be running Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. It is worth mentioning that the smartphone does not come with the fingerprint scanner. The LG Q6+ has been priced at Rs. 17,990 and will be sold via offline channels.
Amit Gujral, LG Electronics India's Chief Marketing Officer, said:
"The new LG Q6+ sets the benchmark in bringing the best of technology at an accessible price point to the consumers in India. Now more than ever, mobile devices are at the center of consumers’ lives as they look for a synthesis of usability and best technology and Q6+ is sure to offer them the same."
