Huawei unveils Nova 2i as international variant of Maimang 6

Huawei announced another smartphone, the new device is announced as Nova 2i for the Malaysian customers. The device is featuring Full Vision display with dual cameras on the front and rear side. It doesn't resemble with the Nova 2 or Nova 2 Plus but instead, it is actually the international variant of Maimang 6 which was announced last week for the Chinese customers.


Huawei Nova 2i is featuring the Huawei's own Octa-core Kirin 659 SoC with 4GB RAM and built-in storage is 64GB. The display aspect ratio is 2:1 but the company didn't reveal its resolution. The devices feature dual front facing cameras of 13MP+ 2MP whereas the camera sensors on the rear side are 16MP+2MP. The fingerprint scanner is placed on the rear side below the camera modules. A 3,340mAH battery cell is on board to keep its on. As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Nougat 7.0 with EMUI 5.1 layer over it.

The device is bringing a number of gestures on board which makes it a fun device to use. The device will be available in Gold, Blue, and Black colors. As far as pricing is a concern it is still in dark. We will keep our readers updated as soon as some more info regarding the device global release pops up online. Stay tuned.
