Google Pixel 2: All you could want in a smartphone

05 October 2017 4

The Google Pixel 2 made a stunning appearance and has already made quite a name for itself. The innovation and technology that went into designing the camera are clearly visible from the stellar images it captures. Who needs a DSLR when you can have a Google Pixel 2 which combines an amazing camera with all the features of a flagship smartphone. The computational photography and machine learning which powers the camera of the Google Pixel 2 help it outpace even the best dual camera setups on smartphones. This is justified by its 98 score in DxOMark.

The Google Assistant can now be launched by a quick squeeze gesture at the sides of the device itself. Now Google Assistant can actually toggle on and off your Wi-Fi hotspot by just telling it to rather than it showing you the options to get it done. Google has truly made a wonderful smartphone which would make you do more and worry less as it does everything you ask of it.

The internals of the Google Pixel 2 is nothing short of impressive. The device comes in two sizes but with the exact same features. One is a 5-inch 1080p OLED display called the Google Pixel 2 and the other features a 6-inch 1440p OLED display and is called the Google Pixel 2 XL. Both devices house a Snapdragon 835 SoC with 4GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage.

The Google Pixel 2 64GB variant is priced at Rs 61,000 with the 128GB variant coming in at a price tag of Rs 70,000. The larger of the two devices, the Google Pixel 2 XL 64GB variant is set at a price of Rs 73,000 with the 128GB variant being priced at Rs 82,000. The Pixel 2 will be available for sale from November 1st, while the Pixel 2 XL will hit the shelves on November 15th.
