On Oct 4th, Google announced latest Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones alongside a number of the new product. As expected the new Pixel 2 lineup smartphones will be challenging existing big players. On the other hand, the Cupertino giant announced their latest smartphones recently as Apple iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. All three latest iPhones surely will be an option for those who are looking for a new premium smartphone. Unfortunately, Apple delayed the iPhone X release till November 3rd but the iterative variants iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are widely available for purchase.

Its good to hear Pixel 2 lineup devices goes up for pre-orders soon after the announcement. Though Google didn't confirm the release date earlier pre-orders indicate release won't be far away. The Pixel 2 will be the direct competitor of iPhone 8 as both have display panel around 5-inches and both have traditional thick bezels design. The bezel-less flagship Pixel 2 XL will be competing against iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X. The device will have to face stiff competition from Samsung's latest bezel-less flagship Galaxy Note 8 as well.
