Apple unveiled the iPhone X along with which it also brought in a Face ID sensor to detect various expressions of a person’s face while also sensing motion. This was indeed used in a clever way when Apple implemented the technology in a way to send cutely animated 3D emojis to friends over iMessage with your recorded voice as well.
Here's hoping Animoji karaoke becomes a thing. pic.twitter.com/oR8PXkRbff— Harry McCracken 🇺🇸 (@harrymccracken) November 1, 2017
The Animoji feature allowed users to speak and move their face with 1:1 motion tracking and already made room for 12 different emojis including aliens, robots and for what it’s worth a pile of poop. While these animated emoji characters do justice to mimicking your facial expressions, the iPhone X would also be able to play your favorite songs with Animoji.
Be it making a hen sing Taylor Swift or the poop emoji impersonating Justin Bieber, the Animoji would not just sing and move its lips while playing a song, it will also give the character in question, facial expressions to match the songs’ mood. At this time we already have a bunch of karaoke covers to check out which have been shared on Twitter & Youtube till now. Look out for the Fox who cries its heart out while singing Queen’s legendary Bohemian Rhapsody.
