Apple App Store now offering free trials for subscription apps

12 January 2018 4

Cupertino tech giant Apple continues to enjoy an amazing start to 2018 with App sales and is working to improve App Store to make sure that it serves as a great platform to find out best apps while it also makes sure that the app developers are able to build a sustainable business utilizing different income model.

The company is pushing subscription-based apps on the platform though users seem reluctant to sign up for a subscription may that be yearly or monthly. To coup with this, Apple has now introduced free trials of the subscription apps which would help the users get an idea of the app and what it has to offer before signing up for a long-term subscription.

To try subscription-based apps, simply head over to App Store and navigate to Apps tab. Scroll down to ‘Try it for Free’ and hit ‘Seel All’ will show up all the subscription-based apps that offer free trials. Currently, there are not tons of apps under this very category though as time progresses, more developers would opt for the subscription-based model, offering free trails to the potential customers.

You could hit ‘Try Something New’ and explore amazing apps with their free trials. As a developer, you could expect to have more people trying out your app and could possibly convert into customers too. Have you ever tried subscription-based apps before?
