iPhone X was well taken by the Apple fans compared to the iPhone 8/8 Plus and a major reason was the apparent upgrade in device’s display, featuring edge-to-edge bezel-less display. With the hit of the design language, the Cupertino tech giant is looking forward to introducing the similar design to a series of smartphones whereas Amit Daryanani who is an analyst at RBC Capital (popular global investment bank), took a stab in predicting prices of the upcoming iPhones.
Apple is expected to introduce a bigger variant of the iPhone X and would possibly name it as iPhone X Plus with a 6.5-inch display offering OLED display screen. The phone is also thought to have shown its existence online surprisingly. Likewise, another variant might be unveiled with 6.1-inch display though rocking an LCD screen. The RBC’s analyst predicts that the Cupertino tech giant would start their lineup starting from $700 or more for the 6.1-inch model while 5.8-inch OLED model could possibly be priced at $899, and the iPhone X Plus is predicted to be tagged at $999.
In case you’re wondering, the $799 price tag for the 6.1-inch model is reasonable, knowing how iPhone 8 Plus is priced at that figure. What do you think of these prices? Do you think are these too much to ask for a smartphone? Share your views in the comment section below.
