Apple launches $49 Logitech-made stylus for its iPad family of devices

Apple launched an affordable iPad with Pencil support for students at its event in Chicago. Along with this, the company has made several other announcements in the education sector that could make the work easy for students as well as the teachers. Apple also introduced a cheaper, stylus for its iPad family of devices. It’s actually Logitech-made stylus called Crayon which is priced at $49 only.

Alongside this, Apple has also launched a new rugged Logitech iPad case and keyboard combo. Presumably, the new Crayon stylus should also work with the new 9.7-inch iPad.

The all-new iPad is centralized for schools, teachers, and students. The announcement talked about new apps and features that have been developed especially to cater the needs of students and teachers as well.

The availability details of the Crayon have not yet disclosed also the pricing details of rugged Logitech iPad case and keyboard combo.

Alongside the new iPad, Apple also announced new versions of Pages, Slides, and Keynote. Apple also provided a quick glance at an upcoming Pages feature called Smart Annotations. The new iPad features an 8MP Full HD camera on the back and a FaceTime HD camera, powered by Apple's A10 Fusion chipset, comes with a Touch ID, native GPS, up to 300 Mbps LTE speed, and a bunch of necessary sensors like gyroscope and accelerometer.
