iPhone SE 2 CAD renders show that iPhone X-like display notch

01 May 2018 3

Apple iPhone SE 2 had mixed reports on its existence but some leaks and rumors suggest that this model is indeed coming. However, we don’t have anything official yet that could help you to picture it. But, now a leak is trailing the already long chain of rumors now and giving us a possible look at the iPhone SE 2. The prolific tipster @OnLeaks has collaborated with Tiger Mobiles to put out the 3D CAD renders of the iPhone SE 2. We can’t comment on the authenticity of these renders but the tipster has a good record of bringing out right information in the past. The source of the CAD files that have been used to draw these renders is unverified.

These 3D CAD renders clearly show display notch that is a matter of debate these days. Looking at the notch, it seems like the iPhone SE 2 could ditch the Touch ID and is expected to use Face ID for authentication. The notch reflects the Full View display with minimum bezels on the sides. There isn’t any 3.5mm headset jack and the device could stick with a metal back, however, a few reports have said it to be the glass back design for the wireless charging support. There’s a single rear camera lens with flash.

Nothing else can be concluded from these leaked renders. Availability details are also on scarce. So, wait for more such leaks to come your way that could tell us more about the device.
