The Apple iPhone 9 lineup rumors are gaining momentum at a very rapid pace. With each passing day, we have something new and exciting regarding the upcoming iPhones from Apple. This year Apple is expected to announce three iPhones. Only the entry-level variant will have LCD display whereas the other two models will have OLED display.
The iPhone 8 successor will have LCD display whereas the iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X successor are rumored to have OLED display. The iPhone X successor is expected to be announced as iPhone X Plus. Today a Chinese case manufacturer Sanfeng cases of iPhone 9 Plus appear online. The case manufacturer mentioned that the larger sibling will be dubbed as iPhone 9 Plus.
The alleged cases showcase the iPhone 9 Plus feature similar design language like the 10th anniversary iPhone X. The front-facing side has an edge-to-edge display with a notch at the top of the display. On the front, you will find an opening for the 3D facial recognition. From what we know so far the iPhone 9 Plus will be featuring a 6.5-inches OLED display. The device overall dimensions are 157.5 x 77.4 x 7.7mm.
Like its predecessor, the iPhone X power button is on the right edge whereas the volume controllers and the silent button are on the left edge. Unfortunately, these renders didn't reveal the bottom of the device. We heard rumors the company could bring triple cameras on the Plus variant this year but the cases suggest the device has dual rear cameras placed vertically on the top left corner.
As expected the cases didn't reveal any hardware specs detail but we can expect iPhone 9 Plus to have a large battery cell, A12 chipset and iOS 12. The last year's iPhone X was launched at $999, we can expect the iPhone 9 Plus at a slightly higher price tag.
In the end, we would like to hear our readers thoughts in the comments section below regarding the iPhone 9 Plus cases.
