Cupertino tech giant Apple launched iPad back in 2016 and marketed the device as ‘iPad is a computer’ and it is been two years and the company is still on the same path to market it. In the latest commercial in this regard, the company shared “5 reasons iPad Pro can be your next computer.”
In the past, Microsoft that is known for its powerful computers operating system (Windows) mocked Apple in this regard though, with the latest iPad Pro, the device puts quite some weight in the Apple’s marketing of tagging it as a ‘computer’. Apple boasted that its latest iPad Pro is faster than 92 percent of the mobile computers offering Intel Core i7 processors where iPad Pro features A12X processor that is built upon the 7nm process in addition to seven-core GPU.
Though a downside of iPad Pro (2018) is the lack of ability to support external storage devices while the swapping of USB Type-C port has also proved to be a plus for Apple in the long run. Apple while pushing iPads portability in contrast to the traditional computers, the Silicon Valley tech giant believes that Apple iPad Pro could do the majority of the tasks that traditional computers do in most of the scenarios.
While a lot of tech reviewers talk high of iPad Pros, the only aspect that turns of a traditional laptop user to not opt for an iPad is the price point which is quite comparable to the high-end laptops though iPads surely have its limitations when compared to a Windows/Mac computer.
