Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets optimized for 2018 iPad Pro models

05 February 2019 1

The latest update to the Gmail app, Google Docs app, and Google Sheets app have brought support for 2018 iPad Pros. The update was required as the old app had a pair of the black bar on top and the bottom of the app which were very distracting.

The new avatar of these apps is cleaner and distraction less for both 11-inch and 12.9-inch models, though the new design is not the same as the material design from Google. The latest update of Gmail version 5.0.190113 brings enhancements that help you get more out of your inbox.

The iTunes update log states:

• Now optimized for the new Apple iPad Pro

Gmail | iOS | iTunes App Store, Free

Google Docs | iOS | iTunes App Store, Free

Google Sheets | iOS | iTunes App Store, Free

Didn't know the removal of those black bars were also kind of an update for a smoother view! But yes, changes like these is what makes a product more perfect!
