This is a new year which means we will see Apple releasing a number of new products spread across a wide range of categories. There have already been different reports regarding the same and now, the biggest report yet related to Apple's complete 2019 lineup has surfaced. This report is based on research notes of renowned research analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who has an impressive track record when it comes to revealing Apple's future plan details.
The report claims that while Apple will be launching the usual iPhone and iPad upgrades, it will have new products in MacBook Pro and display segments as well. Starting with iPhones, Kuo claims that Apple will release three models with exactly the same display size as last year's offerings. It means 2019 iPhones will have 5.8-inch, 6.1-inch, and 6.5-inch options. The most premium variant will also have a triple rear camera setup. Other features will include reverse wireless charging support, frosted glass casing, improved Face ID technology, and bigger batteries.
Next up, Apple will be releasing two new 2019 iPad Pro models with newer processors. These will be sporting a 10.2-inch display which will be larger the current standard of 9.7-inch. The exact reason behind this move is unknown but it is expected to be due to slimmer bezels which will result in a bigger display within the same chassis. There are also speculations regarding the launch of a new iPad mini.
The MacBook Pro lineup will also receive an upgrade in the form of 16-inch and 16.5-inch models. These are said to offer an all-new design but exactly what changes it will be bringing, it has not been mentioned yet. As for the existing 13-inch MacBook Pro, there is a possibility that Apple might add a 32GB RAM option to the lineup.
Apple is reported to make a return to the display market with the release of a 31.6-inch 6K monitor. This monitor is said to sport a "Mini LED-like backlight design". If this is true, it is definitely a good thing for buyers who prefer buying an Apple monitor over a third-party option.
As for the Apple Watch, there is said to be a new ceramic casing design. ECG support is also expected to get expanded to various new countries. The report further claims that there could be a new iPod Touch and AirPower/AirPods mass shipments starting the first half of 2019.
