Apple has now issued new builds to its testers for its operating systems of different hardware. It’s the fifth round of developer betas for iOS 12.2, tvOS 12.2, watchOS 5.2, and macOS 10.14.4.
Note that the fifth beta of iOS 12.2 has build 16E5223a that replaces the fourth build 16E5212f. Apple's fifth beta build for macOS 10.14.4, which is now18E215a, is up from 18E205e from the fourth beta. The newest fifth beta build of watchOS 5.2, 16T5222a, takes over from the fourth build 16T5212e. Lastly, tvOS 12.2's fifth build 16L5221a replaces 16L5212e, the fourth build.
Developers in this test program can download the latest build via the Apple Developer Center. Also, the public betas of the operating systems have also been released by Apple so the testers under Apple Beta Software Program can have their devices updated.
A few changes have been observed in macOS such as the addition of Apple News in Canada and support for Safari Autofill on Macs with Touch ID. Apple has made several improvements in the last four beta updates but nothing noticeable has been found yet on the fifth beta.
The public beta of watchOS 5.2, however, hasn’t been released yet.
Apple advices to take the backup of all the important data before proceeding with the beta installation as there a is possibility of data loss or other issues.
