Apple has released the fifth beta of iOS 13, iPadOS 13, and tvOS 13 to the public beta tester group. All the latest versions of the operating systems are still in the pre-release form which means they may include some bugs and other issues that could pose a potential risk to performance. The public betas come one week after Apple released the fifth developer betas of these versions.
Those who are already part of the beta program and installed the first public beta will receive an over-the-air update of the latest public beta.
The iOS and iPadOS are introducing a new set of feature, including the new system-wide Dark Mode. There’s a brand new, redesigned Photos app that offers a more robust way to look at your photos and videos. The iPadOS which is considered as the branched version of iOS 13 also brings some specific features which aren’t common with the iOS.
Beta testers who have signed up for Apple’s beta testing program will receive the iOS 13 beta update over-the-air after installing the proper certificate on an iOS device.
To update your Apple TV, you would need to open the Settings app> Software Updates that are available within the System app.
Those who aren’t the part of the beta program for any of the operating system will receive the final and polished versions later this year, sometime in the fall. Or, if you want to join the beta testing program now, can sign up on Apple’s beta testing website which allows you to access the beta versions of the operating systems.
