Apple Music on Android gets dark mode, Chromecast support, and more

26 September 2019 0

Apple Music app on Android has received the dark mode following the Android 10’s system-wide setting. Alongside this, the update brings a second major feature which is the Chromecast support with the help of which you can stream your favorite shows to Chromecast devices. It was available in the beta already but now rolling out to everyone via an update.

Apple Music app also gets access to radio stations via TuneIn, Radio.com, and iHeartRadio. Also, there’s support for live lyrics which ensures you have perfectly timed lyrics while you listen to your favorite music. The live lyrics feature comes with appealing animations to make following along more fun. There are a few gesture controls as well that allow you to jump to your favorite verse.

The dark mode helps in reducing the battery consumption and it also goes easy on your eyes giving less trouble to them.

The latest features of the Apple Music app are available via an update. You can head over to the Play Store to update your app.
