Apple has added a couple of new promotional videos featuring the Slofie to the bunch of other videos it already showcases. The Slofie, which means selfies recorded in slow-motion may not attract everyone to but Apple has many reasons to take pride in it.
Apple coined the term and thought it could become the next sensational thing amongst the iPhone lovers, but it may not have achieved much appreciation.
But this doesn’t stop Apple to promote this feature and attract more prospective buyers. The feature in itself is a great feature to spice up your videos captured with the front camera and the term Slofie is just a marketing term but now, it would be used largely for other phones as well that provide the same function. So, here definitely, Apple won what it wanted to achieve. Samsung Galaxy S10 has it and a few others, including Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro.
The new videos specifically highlight the slow-motion videos captured using the front camera. Merely 15-seconds videos show the charm of the feature. Snowboarder can be seen doing backflip using his iPhone 11. In the other video, another snowboarder gets a whiteout as he slides over the heap of snow. The lump of snow can be seen slowly coming to his face. Both the videos promote that the Slofie feature is available on the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max as well.
