Apple at its “Time flies” event held on September 15 launched new iPad models. These are the new iPad 8th-gen iPad and a newly designed iPad Air.
The main highlight of the new iPad 8th-gen that Apple is touting, is the A12 Bionic chip that is faster enough to better performance. It features a 10.2-inch Retina display. Apple also highlights that the GPU is now 2x faster. The iPad can offer 10 hours of battery life.

Apple claims, its new iPad 8th-gen model is up to three times faster than the top-selling Android tablet and up to six times faster than the top-selling Chromebook.
Just like the newly launched iPad Air, the new iPad 8th-generation is also going to get the power of new iPadOS 14 and all of its features. From Multi-Touch display capability to some interesting note-taking abilities using Apple Pencil, the new iPad 8th-gen is going to get all. The new iPad 8th-generation has Touch ID for faster unlocking and Apple claims it comes with an "advanced" camera.
The new iPad 8th-gen model is available to order starting today on apple.com and in the Apple Store app in more than 25 countries and regions, including the US. The Wi-Fi model costs $329 and the Wi-Fi+ Cellular model is priced at $459. It comes in silver, space gray, and gold finishes and in 32GB and 128GB storage configurations. Also, Apple iPad 8th-gen pricing for education for institutions starts at $299. Education pricing for individuals is available for $309.
Apple Pencil will be available for purchase separately for $99 and the Smart Keyboard comes at $159.
