Apple has increased iPad display size quite significantly in the last few years. The currently available biggest model has a 12.9-inch display but if a new Information report is to be believed, the company has plans to increase it even more. The report claims Apple is planning to launch a 16-inch iPad model in 2023.
The report cites anonymous people familiar with the development plans to make the claim. The 16-inch iPad model will surely be a lot bigger than the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. The size will be equivalent to that of a notebook and will surely thin the line of difference between a notebook and a tablet. It adds, "A 16-inch iPad would likely be geared toward creative professionals such as graphic artists and designers who prefer a larger screen".
There are no other details available about those gigantic iPad models. We do not know what kind of feature and specification changes will be coming. There should surely be some exclusive features available on the iPad to boost multi-tasking and overall productivity. It is also unknown at what stage of planning Apple has reached for the rumored model.
This is not the first time we are hearing about a huge iPad model being under development. Mark Gurman of Bloomberg had previously talked about the possibility of a 14-inch or 15-inch iPad Pro. If the new report has any truth to it, we should hear more whispers from the rumor mill in the coming months.
