As per the latest adoption data shared by Apple, the latest iOS 9 is continuously showing signs of a steady growth and adoption. It is now installed on 77% of all the Apple devices in the market. This is a growth of full 1% if you compare it with the data released about a couple of weeks ago.
The previous version, iOS 8 is still installed on about 17% of the devices which means that there are still some users who are hesitant to upgrade. While for even older versions which are collectively represented as Earlier in the data by Apple are installed on 6% of devices now. It is a decline of 1% when compared to the previously released data.
Recently, Apple released the third beta update for iOS 9 which brings different features depending upon the device, iPhone or iPad. Some of them are the introduction of Night Shift mode; support for multi-user login in Music, CarPlay, and Health; and support for Verizon Wi-Fi Calling.
