We have been learning and it has become a universal truth indeed that Apple iPhone 7 doesn’t have any design overhaul, though we did see some usual changes but we were expecting something out of the box, after all, we’re talking about Apple. No 3.5mm headphone jack, relocated antenna lines, IP67 certification, and a dual camera setup on the iPhone 7 Plus variant. We swallowed it all but at the same time, we would have become happier to see new design or aesthetics. Nevertheless, Apple’s latest iPhones are sturdy, robust and can prove to be a great companion even in harsh conditions. We can say that after watching that brutal scratch, bend, and drop tests.
Well, September is the month for Apple we first saw the announcement of the two new iPhones and now we are here to witness the buzz wandering around us. Apple is grabbing the on-going golden opportunity at the fullest. Samsung is still going through a dilemma and this has given Apple a great chance to flaunt its iPhones. Apple has been busy in releasing new video ads for their iPhone 7 family, highlighting every feature, be it about the new Jet Black color variant, dual-cameras, or waterproof capability. The buzz for Apple iPhone 7 is not going to stop until we get to know everything about the device.
Now, a new report is coming from the testing firm DisplayMate Technologies that says iPhone 7 has the best LCD display they have ever tested. DisplayMate President Raymond Soneira found that although the iPhone 6 and iPhone 7 have the same pixel resolution, the latter’s dual color gamuts are not only 25 percent brighter than the legacy phone but actually produce color accuracy that is "visually indistinguishable from perfect."
DisplayMate Technologies calls iPhone 7 a “truly immersive” and a “major upgrade” over the iPhone 6 based on a series of advanced viewing tests and measurements. The outcome of these tests revealed that iPhone 7 has the highest color accuracy, peak brightness, highest contrast ratio of any IPS LCD display, and the lowest screen reflectance of any smartphone display.
The testing firm further said that the display of iPhone 7 is "very likely considerably better than any mobile display, monitor, TV, or UHD TV." Furthermore, DisplayMate said that the iPhone 7 has “excellent viewing angle performance.”
