There is a new accessory for Apple Watch, which turns your Apple Watch into a mini original Macintosh computer. This new accessory is Elago W3 stand, which is nothing but a charging nightstand for your Apple Watch. The stand is made to look like the famous original Macintosh computer but smaller in size. Once you put your Apple Watch in it, the Watch face is used to look like the mini screen of the Macintosh.
The W3 is not new but was first introduced back in November 2016, it is made out of silicone, so as not to put any scratches on the Apple Watch when it's placed on the stand. The Elago W3 stand has a slot which allows the official charging cable of Apple Watch to fit in. The stand is priced at $13.49, comes in two colors black and white and can be purchased from Elago's website. The Elago W3 stand is compatible with both the generations of Apple Watch and also both the 38mmand 42mm models can be used with it.
How it works, slide in your watch and use the Nightstand mode and the date and time on the Apple Watch oriented correctly on the screen, the stand creates the illusion of a mini Macintosh display. Though it is just a simple nightstand and does nothing more Elago W3 stand brings out nostalgia, which seeing now the popularity of the stand seems like a good strategy from Elago. Apple Watch has seen many third-party companies releasing accessories for it.
