After many beta releases, Apple has released the public version of its macOS 10.12.3. The update brings various improvements, such as a graphics issue fix and more importantly, the battery inconsistency issue with the MacBook.
The 2016 MacBook lineup experienced a battery problem that created inconsistent performance. This thus caused the MacBook to lose out on a recommendation by Consumer Reports for the first time ever.
After some convincing and joint testing, Apple managed to secure a recommendation once again for the MBP. The culprit was found to be a bug in Safari, which Apple managed to address in beta 4 of macOS 10.12.3.
The official 10.12.3 update carries the fix as well.
Other important fixes with this update are automatic graphics switching problems, issues while encoding Adobe Premiere Pro. Furthermore, there are stability, security and compatibility improvements with this patch.
The size of the update is 1.05 GB, and is available through the Mac App Store.
