The fourth beta for iOS 10.3 has now started seeding for public beta testers. Users who have registered themselves for the beta program can download the update over-the-air. This news comes after a week when Apple started seeding the third beta of iOS 10.3 for public testers.
Also, the Cupertino giant has decided to seed the fourth beta of their upcoming macOS Sierra 10.12.4 update to the public testers. The update comes after a week later after Apple started seeding the third beta of the same macOS version. Users who have already registered for the beta program can download the update over-the-air with proper configuration profile.
Apple has released new beta software for developers for its macOS Sierra, iOS 10.3 and watchOS 3.2. The latest fourth beta software are rolling out now for developers, today’s release includes fourth beta for macOS Sierra 10.12.4, iOS 10.3 and watchOS 3.2. The latest release of the new beta updates for macOS, iOS and watchOS comes after one week the company launched the beta updates for watchOS 3.2, iOS 10.3 and macOS Sierra 10.12.4.
With the latest fourth beta of macOS 10.12.4 can be downloaded via Apple Developer Centre or Mac App Store for users who have installed beta software previously. With the latest fourth beta of macOS 10.12.4, Apple is introducing the Night Shift mode for the first time for Mac OS. Night Shift mode was first introduced in iOS 9.3, the Night Shift mode reduces the blue light, the blue light interrupts the sleeping pattern of users. Users can activate Night Shift mode using the Displays sections of System Preferences, where the Night Mode can be set to turn on at sunset and turn off at sunrise. Users will also be able to turn on off the Night Mode using the Notification Centre or Siri. The new fourth beta of macOS 10.12.4 also introduces dictation support for Shanghainese, cricket scores for Siri, improved PDFKit APIs, and iCloud Analytics options.
The fourth beta of iOS 10.3 for developers can be downloaded via Apple Developer Centre or over-the-air. With iOS 10.3 Apple is introducing the new Find my AirPods, which helps the users to locate a lost earphone. The new iOS 10.3 introduces new Apple File System which is optimized for the flash/SSD storage and strong encryption. With the new iOS 10.3, Apple is introducing the new feature where developers will be able to respond to customer reviews. Customers will be now able to label reviews as Helpful or Not Helpful. The new update will also limit the number of times developers can ask for a review from customers, users will also be able to do app review without exiting an app. With the new update, Apple has done a redesign of the animation of the app open and close. The new update will also provide warnings about outdated apps which will not work with the future version of iOS.
Apple has also released the fourth beta of watchOS 3.2 for developers, users will be able to download the watchOS 3.2 beta by first installing correct configuration profile on the iPhone. To download the watchOS 3.2 beta the Apple Watch needs to be placed within the range of iPhone and should have more than 50% battery. Only iPhone running iOS 10 will be able to download the watchOS 3.2 and that too is available for developers only. With the watchOS there is no option to downgrade the software and that is the reason behind Apple not releasing the watchOS beta for public. The watchOS 3.2 brings “Theater Mode” which allows customers to mute the sound of the Apple Watch and even disable Raise to Wake. This will allow users to get haptic feedback notifications, to view that users need to tap the screen or press the Digital Crown of the Apple Watch. With the watchOS 3.2, Apple is also bringing the SiriKit to Apple Watch, with that customers will be able to send messages, payments, book ride, make calls or search photos by asking Siri.
