Over $100 billion spent in Apple's App Store - Figures reveal

In jaw-dropping statistics released by the Cupertino tech giant Apple regarding the usage of App Store and how much iOS users have spent on the apps, it comes out that a whopping figure of $100 billion is what has been spent on the apps up till now. This figure comes out of the appropriation of the general idea that floats in the market, where Apple shares its revenue with the app developers at 70/30 for most of the purchases does via App Store, and Apple recently mentioned that the developers have earned about $70 billion by now.

Previously Apple shared last year's data for App Store mentioning how developer's earnings got increased by 40%.

Apple also stated that the downloads have increased by far up to 70% just within a year from now with photo and video applications growing at a stunning rate of 90% than the previous year. It's quite understandable who the camera quality of the search coming to iPhone gets applicable and thus the iOS fans love to edit out and share apps among their social circle.

Apart from this, active paid subscriptions have also risen by 58%. This announcement comes from the tech giant days before one of the biggest tech events i.e Worldwide Developers Conference that would be starting from coming Monday.
