Apple Watch 3 LTE makes brief appearance in the iOS 11 Watch app

09 September 2017 3

Apple is all set to introduce the whole new iPhone 8 to the market. As reported earlier, Tim Cook will unveil the device on Tuesday at the Steve Jobs Theatre in the company's new Apple Park campus. But, our focus point today is not iPhone 8, it is LTE variant of Apple watch 3, which might also be released on Tuesday.

The new Apple Watch is making an appearance in the iOS 11 Watch app with a red-accented digital crown and a signal meter. Picture of the LTE variant appears in the app along with the normal variants as in a slideshow. Apart from the red-accented digital crown and signal meter, few other hints are also available pointing at the wireless LTE connectivity of the device.

The model showcased in the Watch app is a Space Gray model equipped with a black Sport band. As you can notice, the device share some external specs with its predecessors. So, the same bands from previous generation apple watches can be used with the new one.

As mentioned above, the device packs a red-accented Digital Crown which possibly the LTE antenna of the device. Apart from that, we can also find the iOS 11 styled signal meter that is not found in other variants. As you can see in the video, there are also complications for phone connectivity as well as navigation suggesting the same thing, wireless LTE connectivity of the device.

Let us wait till Tuesday to find whether all these hints are pointing towards the truth.
