Apple’s new Animoji generates cute 3D animated emojis with the iPhone X

12 September 2017 3

Apple’s keynote unveiled the latest generation iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus which was accompanied by the futuristic iPhone X that Tim Cook called the “future of smartphones”. In addition to the edge-to-edge display and the powerful A11 processor, the iPhone X makes use of a new Face ID sensor that detects various expressions of your face and senses motion. This can be used to send cutely animated 3D emojis to friends over iMessage with your recorded voice as well.

At this moment, there are about 12 different emojis that users can create 3D moving emojis with, including aliens, robots and a pile of poop. The Animoji also allows users to speak and move their face with 1:1 motion tracking.

In a move to make more out of this feature, Apple has confirmed a partnership with Snapchat who will bring advanced facial filters using the Face ID by applying the masks directly to one’s face.

Apple also unveiled the Watch Series 3 with cellular support and the much-improved watchOS along with the new Apple 4K TV that supports HDR.

The Apple iPhone X isn't still available. To be notified when it becomse available click here.
