As Apple cut the prices of the older iPhones that include iPhone 6s, 6s Plus, iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, the company has also quietly slashed the price of the iPhone SE. Apple didn’t talk or highlight about the change in the prices at its recently held keynote where it announced the new iPhones but while announcing the prices of the new iPhones, the company did showcase the prices of the older devices.
The price of the iPhone SE is now $349 for the 32GB variant, while the 128GB variant can now be purchased for $449. Apple doubled the storage of the models of iPhone SE back in March to 32GB models and 128GB. At that time, the prices were placed at $399 and $499.
Apart from the storage variants, the key specifications have remained the same. The iPhone SE is powered by the A9 processor and comes with a 4-inch Retina display and a 12MP camera. It has now pressure sensing 3D Touch. The iPhone SE sports the same design as the classic iPhone 5s and series.
In related news, it has been rumored that Apple will launch a refreshed iPhone SE in early 2018. However, nothing has been entertained on a frequent basis for the same.
