Social media platform Twitter launched ‘explore’ tab back in 2016 to unify ‘Moment’ and various trending topics while the feature got a major update last year consolidating moments, trends and live videos in a single offering. Now in the latest development in this regard, Twitter has brought an update to the iOS version of the app that further segments the data for better consumption.
The update separates content into different categories depending upon the topics helping the user to find a topic of choice easily. You can try out the feature via iPhone and iPad by going into the explore tab that shows various features like News, Sports, Entertainment where tapping on any of these categories further shows up content into these categories.
It seems that the goal of Twitter is to enable the users to find relevant content they’re looking for rather than to sniff through a bunch of content that you don’t care about. Currently, the feature is only available in the United States and would soon be launched in various parts of the world.
