Fitbit coming up with kids specific fitness tracker in various colors

11 February 2019 2

Popular fitness wearable manufacturer Fitbit just recently launched two new fitness trackers featuring OLED display panels and now it seems that the company is coming up with fitness trackers that apparently seems to be targeting kids. Few of the images that recently got leaked online showcase the device in various colors including Pink and Blue. These color options being vibrant could be a way to attract kids towards the product.

Currently, there is no more information about the upcoming product, its price etc apart from these images that surfaced online. Chances are that Fitbit would include water and dust resistance apart from features specific to kids. Looking at the images, the device seems to have monochrome display instead of a colored one, though the display seems to be bigger than the previous Fitbit devices.

We could expect the device to launch around Q2 2019 as not much information about it is out yet. Secondly, the pricing could be lower than the Fitbit fitness trackers considering how its targeting kids. The previously launched Fitbit Ace is also a fitness tracker the company launched for kids offering activity tracking, step counter, sleep tracking and is also showerproof. The device offers a healthy 5-day battery life.
