Jio Group Talk Android app allows to connect up to 10 Jio users for group calling

22 February 2019 3

Popular Indian telecom operator Reliance Jio has launched a group video calling app that makes group conference calls over VoLTE technology. The app is currently in trial-mode on PlayStore while isn’t yet available on iOS App Store. Note that the app would only be working for Jio SIM users, as the app first asks for Jio number on which it sends out OTP verification number to complete the registration process. Once that is done, the app gets ready to work though make sure that your Jio SIM is active and has SMS and calling feature activated on it.

The company is calling the app as ‘one touch multi-party calling application exclusively for Jio users’ that helps to connect up to 10 users to connect through the conference call at a time. Interestingly, the app also offers a scheduling option on which the conference call to all the contacts would be made. Likewise, the app allows shooting a conference call to multiple people at once without having a need to add participants one after another, saving a lot of time and effort.

Just like any other group calling app, it allows to remove participants, mute them and also offers a handy lecture mode in which it allows the speaker to talk while others are muted and are only allowed to listen.

Would you be trying this app out? Let us know in the comment section below.
