Asus' new ZeniMoji promo video describes them as "a fun way to communicate"

20 March 2018 3

When Asus debuted its all-new ZenFone 5 lineup at MWC 2018, it announced them with a bunch of changes and new features with emphasis on the use of artificial intelligence (AI). One such feature unveiled by the company was ZeniMoji, Asus' own take on animated emojis similar to Apple's Animoji and Samsung's AR Emoji.

ZeniMoji are currently exclusive to ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5Z and to market them among consumers, Asus has released a new promo video on YouTube. The video shows what ZeniMoji are capable with the help of models who can be seen using them for different purposes. Asus says that these emoji currently support over 52 expressions which can be recorded and shared. It means there are plenty of options to choose from.

One of the things that make ZeniMoji different from the competition is the ability to use them during live streaming and video calling. This is quite different from the competition which currently allows only sharing them via instant messengers and social media platforms. You can check out the promo video below to see for yourself:

Even though Asus has started to market ZeniMoji, there is still a good amount of time before users can actually use them. The ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5Z smartphones will go on sale starting May and June respectively which means we still have at least one month to go for their public availability.
