Asus Chromebook C223 is ultra-slim and costs 320 Euro | Report

22 June 2018 3

Asus is reportedly all set to launch a new budget Chromebook named Chromebook C223. The report is coming from the reliable tipster Roland Quandt who mentions that it is an ultra-slim notebook. It means it is quite compact in size which makes it easier to carry around. It is speculated to be made out of plastic but no concrete evidence is available yet.

The Acer Chromebook C223 is reported to sport an 11.6-inch non-touch screen display with 1366 x 768 pixels resolution. Under the hood, it has the dual-core 1.1GHz Intel Celeron N3350 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. There is a TurboBoost mode which can be used to bump up the clock speed up to 2.4GHz. It offers 32GB of onboard storage with microSD card support for expansion for those who might want that.

For connectivity options, it has a USB Type-C port, microSD card reader, USB 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also has a front camera for clicking photos and video calling purposes. It will be running Chrome OS with support for Google Play Store out of the box.

Asus is said to bring Chromebook C223 to the European market sooner than later. It is speculated to be priced around 320 Euro which should be good enough to attract buyers. But as we always say, all of these are rumors at this point in time. Take everything with a pinch of salt and we will keep you updated as more information will appear.
