Asus Zen AiO 27 with 4K display, wireless charging base announced

Taiwanese technology brand ASUS has joined the bandwagon of a select group of PC manufacturers by announcing a new all in one computer, the Zen AiO 27. This new PC replacement comes with a 4K 27-inch touchscreen display, Intel i7 processor and a Qi-based wireless charger built in the base, offering a clean desktop environment.

Talking about the detailed specifications, the ASUS Zen AiO 27 does offer the latest 2018 specifications. It features a large 27-inches touchscreen display with 4K resolution with Intel’s 8th generation i7- 8700T processor, 4GB Nvidia GTX 1050 GPU along with ample 16GB DDR4 RAM.

On the storage part, it comes with 2TB built-in storage and 512 GB M.2 SSD memory. The highlight of this all-in-one from Asus is that its base can be easily opened to upgrade storage and memory, however, the graphics card cannot be upgraded which may be a downer for hardcore gamers. The base also works has a 7.5W Qi-based wireless charging solution built in that can help you charge compatible devices wirelessly.


In terms of connectivity ports, the Zen AiO 27 is loaded with options. It comes with three USB 3.1 ports, a Thunderbolt 3 port, a USB 2.0, HDMI out and HDMI in to make Zen AiO 27 work as an external display and an Ethernet port. It also supports Amazon’s Alexa as well as an IR camera for Windows Hello.

In terms of pricing, the Asus Zen AiO is only available in one configuration and is priced at $1,999. It is available online at Asus, Amazon, and NewEgg
