A video allegedly showcasing the Asus Zenfone Max Pro (M2) has posted by Androideo. In the video, you can clearly see the display notch and a few more specifics. The video also informs on some of the key specifications of the device. With the display notch, a slight chin in the bottom can also be seen, there are on-screen navigation buttons, a dual camera set up at the back, rear fingerprint scanner.
The power and volume buttons are housed on the right edge of the device. The video reveals, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 will feature a 6-inch full HD+ IPS display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The display notch includes a 13MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. At the back, the video states that the phone will sport a 12MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, and EIS and the secondary 5MP sensor for bokeh effect in photos.

Asus is gearing up to launch the ZenFone Max Pro M2, which is the successor to the ZenFone Max Pro M1 which was released last year. The Max Pro M2 will be launched on December 11 in Indonesia. The phone's predecessor, the ZenFone Max Pro M1 was launched in India first, however this time the company has not announced any launch event for India as of now.
The Asus Indonesia Twitter handle has stated that the ZenFone Max Pro M2 will launch on December 11 in the country. The company is touting the device as a gaming phone which will have powerful features. Apart from this, no other details about the phone have been revealed yet. The official render released by the company on the Google Play Console's device catalog shows the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2, with the model number ASUS_X01BD_1. The render shows the front of the device only, with a notched display, on-screen navigation buttons, and a slight chin at the bottom of the display.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 which was released last year was priced at Rs 8,199 and did not have a display notch up front. The phone had a dual rear camera setup and a rear fingerprint scanner.
The Google Play Console listing reveals that the device will run on Android 8.1 Oreo, and pack 6GB of RAM. However, the listing states that the 'device specifications are provided by the manufacturer and have not been confirmed'.
Rumors suggest the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 will have a triple camera setup and will be launched in two variants - the ZenFone Max Pro M2 ZB631KL and ZenFone Max M2 ZB633KL. The ZenFone Max Pro M2 will have a 6-inch full-HD+ display, triple rear cameras, a 13P selfie camera, 4GB RAM, 32GB/ 64GB onboard storage, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC.
